This is a request from a viewer of my other story, I don't know if they want to be shouted out or not. Kite died and Gon was desperate for revenge. He turned to the only people he knew could actually help him kill the Chimera Ants. He couldn't think of any other way to leave Killua behind so he shut off his emotions, like he'd seen Killua do before killing an enemy. This is probably not fully compliant to canon information, but it was requested and sounded really interesting to write so I hope that you enjoy it.
