I watched as the guards carried the prisoner off to the dungeons. I smiled at the realization that Darius was completely and utterly in the palm of my hand. Little did Darius know that I would just let the prisoner go, when Darius wasn't paying attention; just like I always do. Eventually we landed on the final prisoner of the day; a young girl. "We caught this girl sneaking around the palace. She refused to tell us what she was doing, other then demanding to speak to you, My Pharaoh!" The guard explained. The girl suddenly broke away from the guard's grasp before shouting out. "Wait! It's about your son! I'm afraid he might-" She was cut off by her own crying. Although Darius was willing to listen now. His mood was still really foul. I was aware that if she didn't say something serous enough about our son, to support breaking the law. She would be dead before she could even bat an eyelash. And there would be nothing I could do about it.
