In a colony where Spanish blood opens doors that talent alone cannot, Alfonso Linares de Espadaña is a walking lie. To escape starvation in Madrid, he allowed himself to be transformed into a distinguished gentleman and an acceptable suitor for the beautiful María Clara. But when his carefully constructed deception collapses, Alfonso loses everything-his status and the life he hoped to build. Reduced from honored guest to servant, he must embrace the truth he spent years hiding and struggle to reclaim his dignity in a society ruled by wealth, pride, and appearances. In a world governed by greed, malice, and power, can a disgraced man prove that true nobility comes not from birth, but from character? Inspired by José Rizal's Noli Me Tangere, this reimagined historical drama follows one of its most overlooked and controversial figures.

Ren Victor y Valencia, a 15-year-old boy living in the year 2026, accidentally travels back in time and finds himself stuck in Las Islas Filipinas during the Spanish colonization - in Manila, 1765. With no clear way to return, he struggles to adjust to his new life while searching for any chance to get back to his own time. Will he ever make it home again? This is a work of fiction, created entirely from the author's imagination. It blends teenage romance and historical fiction. Warning: This story uses a mix of English, Filipino, and some Bicol dialect. This is my first time writing a story on Wattpad. You have been warned! ✨

A photograph from the year 1944 from the Japanese occupation in the Philippines. A journal from an English professor from UP. A story untold years ago. A mystery that was never truly unveiled. This short novel was based from the author's dream, a fictional dream that had a detailed storyline and it is such a waste not to write it. NOTE: I do not own any of the images used for this story. All images and resources belonged to its righteous owners. PLEASE note that the actor Park Hyun Sik is not involved in this story, it's merely a name used and a name revealed in the author's dream.
