Dan Howell an anger filled, out of control teenager just trying to get through school, is what everyone calls a psychopath. As much as he denies the fact that he sees everyone as a target for his firearms, he can't control that urge. It's an uncomfortable feeling to have, knowing your different. Really different. He didn't even know he was that different until he went to high school, before he was homeschooled by his mother, and didn't deal with other pesky kids. But now it's impossible to avoid anyone. Phil Lester, an anxiety filled, stuttering young man, goes to school councillors every year, trying to get help for his family issues and social anxiety. A mother who drinks until she is passed out, an abusive father, even a brother who acts like he doesn't care and sadly a dead little sister too. An entirely fucked up family, but Phil feels like the only normal one. He even swears he is adopted, Phil must be, he doesn't look like his family, he feels like an alien. It's different at school, he has a group of friends that don't care about is anxiety and stuttering, they just accept him for him.

(and before you ask me... yes. the main character of my books will always be Serafina. deal with it.) Serafina is an orphan. and a demigod. daughter of Ares. Her parents, well her mom and step-dad, always loved her. until the day they were killed. Sera was only 6 so nothing much is remembered. now 14, she still misses them. the orphanage, somewhere in mid central Florida, named "Smiles Orphanage" was anything but smiles. she was beat daily. and being home-schooled didn't help. but she still refused to cut. being the daughter of war that she was, she had to restrain from beating someone up. her only escape of the harsh world that she lives in was YouTube. Dan and Phil to be exact. so what happens when Serafina's Hero's come in? how will she react? will she get adopted by her idols? and what secrets do they have?

"Phil, come on! We have to film this, or we'll both forget and never do it!" Phil comes running down the stairs, shirt half on, yelling "I'm coming! Don't start filming without me!" Phil walks around half naked so often, I've conditioned himself to not pay attention to it. It's not like I'm gay or anything, I just don't want to see my best friend shirtless. We finally get all our bearings together, and walk into Phil's bedroom. I grab a sharpie, and Phil turns on the camera. "Hey guys..."

dan isn't so keen on making friends, or talking to anyone, really. that is, until he finds a mysterious letter in his locker, written by the most intriguing person he'd ever known. //completed short story with no triggers//

Maybe some heated making out or something haha

I stare at the cuts on Phil's arms. How could I have been so stupid? How could I just let him feel so alone. Some boyfriend I am. " Phil," tears roll down my cheeks," each time you want to cut yourself, you have to look me in the eyes and cut my arms as much as you would to yourself. Do you understand me?"
