    I didn't think it could end like this. "Why spend your life running from death when you could chase it?" That's what they said; What convinced me to go. Idiot. I'm such an idiot. Maybe it's just because I'm dying. Maybe it's because of regret. Maybe I'm just tired. Maybe it's my displacement of trust. Arthur. Nothing but I liar, yet I put my life in his hands; and he squeezed. Their leader. Their pride. "You look like you need a lifeline," he said. That was the first day I met him, the first day I felt alive. But my story didn't begin there.
