This is so ridiculous, Phillip thought to himself, glancing around wearily for the last time. He was home alone yet he felt like there were thousands of eyes on his screen. 15 signs that a guy really likes you/is serious about you!! Phillip clicked on the link, red colouring his cheeks. What had gotten into him? Before this blond motorcross kid had entered his life he would've just scrolled past an article like this. ~ A short story about Phillip and Lukas set in a universe where the killings at the cabin never happened. *all memories/events in chronological order* Slight warning: homophobia/homophobic language is included in some parts

When Philip Shea moves in with his new foster parents, all he wants to do is leave the small town and get back to his mom. Lukas Waldenbeck, the resident popular-kid jock, is the king of their school and a class-A dick. Philip never expected Lukas would even like him, let alone fall for him... (Based off the USA Network show 'Eyewitness')

Philip is a 16 year old foster child living with a married couple in upstate New York. He was taken from his mother due to her drug addiction. He has now transferred to Red Hook High School where he meets Lukas Waldenbeck, a motocross enthusiast, and the two become friends. Lukas lives alone with his single alcoholic father, who began drinking after the death of his mother. He's popular and rich but on the inside has nothing to fill the void that he feels. That is until he meets Philip. Two teens both broken in their own ways, will they be able to come together and fix the souls that society ripped from them?

After everything that happened to Philip and Lukas, they just wanted a break from each other. What happens when they paired up in a class for the year? What happens when they actually grow up and are adults?
