Jade North, a girl who used to have a crush on the most popular boy in middle school got humiliated for confessing his feelings to him. But he didn't feel the same way and calls her weird and awkward. So she decided from now on she'd forget about love and romance all together! When she entered high school, she ignored any boy who decided to ask her out and look away from any romantic couple. Jade was a romance hater! Note: This story takes place two years before the events of Autumn's Escape. Autumn would be in 6th grade and Devon and Vie would be in 12th and 11th grade.

Philophobia-The fear of falling in love. The reality is, love is a beautiful thing. It's butterflies and sunshine, but it can also be dark and lonely nights spent alone. Why do we love if there is the possibility of being hurt? Trust. We trust the person. We know that there is the possibility of the person throwing our heart, and shattering it into a million pieces, but trust that they won't. We are afraid of the hurt that comes after the happy. Reality sucks. We get hurt. I've gotten hurt. I wouldn't go as far to say that I have philophobia. This is me talking about the happy, the hurt and everything in between. But Elka finds her eyes welling up even more and hard to breathe when Danish gives her euphoric moments along with some bitterness.
