Just my thoughts and headcannons on characters. There will be oneshots, just I don't have any ideas, so when I get requests, that will happen.

Maybe they weren't at the top. Maybe? Well, obviously they weren't at the top. The famous spiders really weren't at the top of the pyramid. Life had always been cruel, perhaps deluding us into thinking we were the best and that we were indestructible. Or perhaps not even letting us survive long enough to reach that conclusion. Which is a shame, at least for the spiders. They always thought they were in control. And for them, just thinking it wasn't enough. They were absolutely certain that they were in control. That they had the most absolute power in the world. Strength without morals. Hunters without honor. If they decided you were guilty, then your hope was planted to hurt. Pain was the purpose, and there was no other choice. And they called *that* strength, which was also pathetic. But this... Is where the troupe goes wrong. Because the spider learns to fear. They finally realize that they are not at the top. A discovery that took a while, which also made it humiliating, because the disadvantage was absolute. They felt it before they understood it.

"I love you, Shalnark." Feitan spoke in a soft and calm whisper as the black birds cawed outside. He held onto his boyfriend in a tight embrace, letting Shalnark run his fingers gently through his hair. "I love you too, Feitan. I love you too." Feitan never thought he'd ever fall in love. The concept of it was confusing to him and he could never understand it. Maybe it was the way he grew up or the way he was never taught about normal human emotions. But when a fellow Troupe member by the name of Shalnark manages to steal his heart, Feitan soon learns things he never thought were possible. Good times, happiness, romance and simple things that can wash that all away.

Y/n is a mysterious woman who gains the attention of the Phantom Troupe due to her grand riches, causing Chrollo to gain a heavy interest in her uncovering a huge secret

Soul-marks. There are many different types. The red string, their names. Or there is the one where whatever is on your skin appear on your soulmates skin. That was the kind I had. Most people would wear their soulmates proudly. I didn't. I hide mine. Why? Because of who the soul-marks, yes marks, Indicated just who my soulmates are. I had a total of six. There was a twelve legged spider with a number number zero on its back located on the back of my neck, another twelve legged spider with number one on its back located right behind my right ear, A twelve legged spider with number two on its back located on my left outer thigh, again a twelve legged spider number five on its back located on my left inner wrist, followed by a twelve legged spider number six on its back located right under my left collar bone, and finally you guessed it another twelve legged spider number eleven on its back located my lower back. Everyone knew what the twelve legged spider meant. What it represented. The phantom troupe. A group of thieves and killers. And six of them where my soulmates. That though terrified me. Scared me to no end. It put me in danger, it put my friends and family in danger as well. So, mom and dad made us hide. Yeah, like that helped. Now both mom and dad where dead. Thank to their desperate attempts to distract the troupe as we... as I ran. Dad was first. Mom had taken me and my sibling and ran. Mom was next, a few years later. She had stayed in the house as a distraction as I used my Nen ability to take my younger siblings and ran. I raised them. And now... now I will do anything to keep them safe. I'll die for them. I'll kill for them. I'll even expose myself to protect them. Fuck I'd even give myself to the phantom troupe if it meant my remaining family's safety. My family only grew when a black and green haired boy befriended my siblings. It grew again when a silver haired boy joined the fray.
