Avery Brown was just a normal teenage girl of seventeen with no clear memories of her childhood, until one night she goes home and discovers that her parents and sister are gone, only leaving a note that they were on a trip. After having suspicions, she follows her sister's bestfriends and stumbles into a portal which lead her to the dark land called Meridian. She soon learns that Elyon wasn't her sister but the princess of the land and that she was engaged to Elyon's older brother, Phobos. With a lot of questions in mind, she started digging some facts about herself and about the land. As she slowly uncovers the truth about her past and real identity, she finds herself falling for Phobos' right hand, a Naga shape-shifter named Cedric. She then finds herself torn between love (Cedric) and duty (Phobos).
