Phoenix captures Murdoc, but only by luck because the assassin was, for some reason, lingering over the scene, and he escapes from his cell, leaving behind only a paperclip folded into an anatomically correct heart stuck in the circuitry of the lock.

The easiest way for Mac and Murdoc to go on dates is simply for Murdoc to kidnap him, but what happens when the team starts asking how their brightest agent keeps falling directly into Murdoc's hands?
