Poetry saved my life, I had sunken to the bottom of a sea bed, Weighed down by my strife. All the other fish swam past me. Some didn't notice, Some didn't care, To carry out a good deed. But poetry did. And it pulled me up. Back then, I used to hate water, But poetry taught me how to swim. It taught me how to use my fins. And hour by hour. day by day. I felt life getting a bit better. Poetry's job isn't over yet there are plenty of fish in the sea. ♡Beauty lies...In the eyes of the beholder♡ -------------------- ♛-------------------- "Come on, you didn't expect it to be something more did you?" "Sure Hunter, why would I think like that? Why would someone like you kiss someone like me?" I humorlessly laughed "Doesn't make sense right?" Feeling my lips tremble I decided to get out of here before I cry in front of this jerk. "Cherry?" I heard him call after me which only made my blood boil more. "Don't f***ing Cherry me, just leave me alone, don't talk to me, don't come near me, just stay away from me you bastard...I hate you." With that said, I made my way inside the house. -------------------- ♛-------------------- Daisy and Alex are two different teenagers exposed to different aspects of life. Considering they didn't really have a pleasant meeting.... Will they ever be able to get in a civil conversation without trying to rip each other's throat? Or not? ***My first story ever***
