Neither did Juno, who treats most problems with sarcasm and bad timing until the two of them begin noticing things other students don't-missing moments, repeated conversations, names that disappear from memory halfway through saying them. Then one night, the lights go out, and they wake up in a classroom that shouldn't exist. After midnight, the school changes. Rooms appear where walls should be. Time stops behaving normally. Students begin forgetting pieces of their own days, and something inside the building starts reacting to the people who notice too much. The deeper they get pulled into it, the harder it becomes to tell whether the academy is haunted, alive, or trying to remember something it was never meant to keep. And the worst part? Somewhere between the shifting corridors, the ringing bells, and the things watching from darkened classrooms, Riven begins to realize something terrifying: this may not be the first time they've gone through all of this.

Imagine driving through town after work, after dark. You're driving peacefully, and suddenly you see an advertisement for a circus. Le Cirque de Méfait. The advertisement catched your attention, naturally. It's hard to miss, hard to ignore. And that's exactly what they wanted. Within the blink of an eye, your car is flipped. Your head hits the center console and suddenly you're unable to function or see or anything. And then you wake up, chained to the wall of a boxcar on a moving train. Barely any water, plants, and animals, it soon took to peoples realization that rebuilding a civilization wasn't possible, it would again result in starvation, and power struggles, so now without a government, sperate nations or any sort of unity, humans took it upon themselves, giving them no choice but to hunt each other for the task of survival. And now Mirana, a 14 year old girl, with her adoptive brother, Neero, and her friend Eziral, struggle in this current world with its problem and set on a journey to find a paradise of happiness, except what awaits them are only lies. ---------- Well, this is my first story, I'm really sorry if there parts with bad grammar or anything like that since I haven't proofread any of it, but I thought I came up with quite an interesting story so out of boredom I started writing it.
