He has to try and get out of his comfort zone to make friends in this new school year.

In this town the only person or people who seems to be nice to her is a kid who goes by Phillips and his baseball buddies. She trust Phillips and he tells her everything she wants to know or everything he thinks she should know. Amelia learns that Phillips isn't as honest as he plays to be and the "Sandlot kids" aren't as bad as she thought they were. Amelia in the process of figuring out her feelings for each team captain, she needs to figure out her healing process with her grandmothers passing. Everyday there's something new going on in Amelia's life and she can't handle it on her own.
