Love is a complex neurobiological phenomenon, relying on trust, belief, pleasure and reward activities within the brain, limbic processes. These processes critically involve oxytocin, vasopressin, dopamine, and serotonergic signaling. Moreover, endorphin and endogenous morphinergic mechanisms, coupled to nitric oxide autoregulatory pathways, play a role. Naturally rewarding or pleasurable activities are necessary for survival and appetitive motivation, usually governing beneficial biological behaviors like eating, sex, and reproduction. Yet, a broad basis of common signaling and beneficial neurobiological features exists with connection to the love concept, thereby combining physiological aspects related to maternal, romantic or sexual love and attachment with other healthy activities or neurobiological states. Medical practice can make use of this concept, i.e., mind/ body or integrative medicine. Thus, love, pleasure, and lust have a stress-reducing and health-promoting potential, since they carry the ability to heal or facilitate beneficial motivation and behavior. In addition, love and pleasure ensure the survival of individuals and their species. After all, love is a joyful and useful activity that encompasses wellness and feelings of well-being. © Pepe Peperino

Carnivals are supposed to be fun, but this surely wasn't. I had somehow found myself inside a mirror fun house . those sickly reflections watching your every move. mocking you. tat dark maze, those eerie lights. its terrifying. I'm searching for a way out but it seems like its just an enclosed room without doors or windows. if there's no way out, how did I get in? along the rows of mirrors, down the corridor I wander. "hello?" I call out, a little panicked. surely I couldn't be the only one in here. my mind began to wander in horror. what if I'm trapped in here forever? would I ever get to see my family and friends again? why did I come in here? I began to hear voices. voices of the lies I've told in the pass. soon I began to hear other voices. "liar." they said coldly. "we thought you were one of us" crumbling to my knees I began to cry like a baby. I hate being trapped. trapped inside my head.

No one told me that I'd be awake, no one told me about any of this at all... I remember quite clearly that the process to donate my body wasn't clear at all. The man in charge said my body could go several different places. It could be used for anything from dentistry to surgical practice. It might remain whole or it might be divided into pieces for use in different mediums. I might be used for one class or I might be used for ten. They might not even use my whole body; they may just need my bones. Supply and demand he had said. As I remember it, the only thing the man seemed sure of was that my body would be treated with the utmost respect by both students and staff of any institution I might be sent to, with any indiscretions being severely punished. Well, tell that to the freckled kid that sneezed into my abdomen.
