During the last days of summer before college, Kaycee's life takes an unexpected turn. Her father, a partner in one of the richest companies in the country, has been arrested. to keep from falling apart, Kaycee finds comfort through the violin classes she has been taking since childhood, where she meets Dane again, a young pianist who happens to be the son of the family accusing her father. They will do everything to avoid each other, but when they are both selected for the lead roles in a show, they are confronted with strange feelings that lead them to make a choice: risk it all or hide their feelings because of their families' situation, which is becoming increasingly worse.
