// maya and the three, zatz x fem!reader What It Takes to be a Goddess is a shameless self-insert fanfic where Author is a big fan of Book of Life and quite literally melted into a puddle as soon as she heard Diego Luna's performance as the esteemed Prince of Bats the moment he first showed up on screen in the first fucking episode. She needs desperate help. Follow Y/N's struggle into godhood as she tries to navigate her way through life, with an overbearing father who treats her as nothing more than a weapon and a future that's been predetermined and controlled by the very same father. I hope it isn't obvious that I am self-projecting. Author hopes that you enjoy this fanfic, but at the same time hopes that you get the help that you need if you do. Author also knows that she's late to this fandom, and she unkindly asks you to shut the fuck up. Donnie is not to be held responsible for this book because she barfed it out of her brain already, and it's your problem to deal with now because you're the one reading it. Thank you. • completed || 25,693 words

Maya and the Three is a fantasy cartoon limited series created by Jorge Gutierrez. (Who also created the book of life.) The series is inspired by a rich, vibrant mixture of Aztec, Maya, and Inca mythology, and modern-day Caribbean culture. (Before you decide to read this story make sure you've watched the series first, trust me it'll make a lot more sense if you already seen what's going on..) (Also y/n uses they them pronouns in this story! I did this so anybody of any gender can read the story without using feminine or masculine pronouns for the reader.) Y/n is a Half human and Half god/goddess who was brought into the underworld along with their twin sister Maya. Their mother, Lady Micte, (Goddess of Death) brings them into her husbands palace, Lord Mictlan (God of War). Mictlan despises the half inbred gods, close enough to take their lives as infants, but his wife convinces him that he has the advantage of gaining ultimate power if he sacrificed one of them as they became older. They had an agreement to sacrifice Maya, but with Y/n they have different plans for them..The two gods send them up to the mortal world and wait 15 years for these two twins to grow. Machu Picchu, the crown jewel of Peru, is a destination that attracts adventurers and history enthusiasts from around the globe. As you plan your visit, one of the most crucial decisions you'll make is determining the best time to go. The experience of Machu Picchu tours can vary significantly depending on the season, weather, and crowd levels. In this article, we'll explore the ideal times to visit, focusing on the weather, crowd dynamics, and hiking conditions, particularly on the iconic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Understanding Machu Picchu's Weather Patterns Machu Picchu's unique location in the Andes mountains means it experiences distinct weather patterns throughout the year. Peru's climate is broadly divided into two main seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. • Dry Season (May to October): This is the most popular time to visit Machu Picchu. The weather is generally clear and mild, making it ideal for hiking and exploring the ruins. Daytime temperatures range from 55°F to 75°F (13°C to 24°C), with cooler nights. The dry season offers the most reliable conditions for the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, with minimal rain and stunning mountain views. • Rainy Season (November to April): While the rainy season sees fewer tourists, it also brings more unpredictable weather. Rain showers can be heavy, especially in February, when the Inca Trail is closed for maintenance. However, the landscape is lush and green, and the misty atmosphere adds a mystical quality to the ruins. If you don't mind a bit of rain, this season can provide a more intimate experience with fewer crowds.
