Pick-a-topic-any-topic Stories

So, basically we did this exercise in class where we had to write a descriptive paragraph based off a simple sentence and a tone word. It was super fun (Yes, school was fun. Shocker). Anyway, I wanted to do it some more, so I thought, why not have you guys give me a topic and I'll spin a tale? An example is provided in the first chapter. In short, I want you to give me a simple, plain sentence. Then, I will either pick the tone of the story or you could provide it. Finally, I'll write a short drabble about 100 words long (give or take). It's really just a writing exercise for me, but whatever.
