A Smiling Critters one-shot book! This will feature ships, stories that may or may not be canon to any Chapter of Poppy Playtime and even the Smiling Critters playing certain games! I do not own the Smiling Critters, the games or any other Poppy Playtime characters mentioned herein.

Dogday had once been a captive in the cruel world of dogfighting, sold to callous individuals who thrived on violence. Despite his strong build and fierce exterior, he longed for a life free from the horrors of the pit. His fate took a dramatic turn when a whimsical purple cat named Catnap appeared on the scene, accompanied by determined police officers and a team of SWAT members. Together, they launched a daring operation to dismantle the fighting rings and liberate the dogs, rescuing Dogday and many others from their bleak existence. Catnap, with his vibrant fur and playful demeanor, brought Dogday to a cozy home filled with warmth and companionship, sharing the space with his caring girlfriend and an eclectic group of furry friends. Yet, despite his newfound safety, Dogday remained cautious and skeptical. Trust did not come easily for him after the traumas he had experienced. Everything changed when he met Craftycorn, a kind-hearted female unicorn struggling with a grave illness caused by kidney failure. With her shimmering coat and gentle spirit, Craftycorn resonated with a familiarity that stirred something deep within Dogday. As they bonded over their trials, he felt the walls around his heart begin to crack. Would this brave unicorn, facing her own battles, be the key to helping Dogday reclaim the joy he had lost? As Dogday worried about Craftycorn's fate, he found himself torn between despair and hope. Would she receive the new kidneys she desperately needed to embrace life once more, or would he have to face the possibility of losing yet another friend? In the depths of his uncertainty, Dogday began to understand that perhaps trust could be built through shared struggles, giving him the courage to open up and heal alongside Craftycorn. In 1989, when Y/n L/n finally scored a job as a "Playcare caretaker assistant" at the infamous toy company Playtime co., they made it their mission to make sure every child at Playtimes orphanage got the care they deserved before sending them out to the warm embrace of a new family. A year swept by like it were a mere few days, but to Y/n and the children they took care of, those days were filled with hours of building trust, joyous laughter, and fun. However, Y/n slowly started suspecting what the company was so determined to hide, which soon resulted in Leith Pierre firing them before they got too far. Ten years later, Y/n received a strange letter in front of their doorstep with disheveled handwriting saying: "Everyone thinks the staff disappeared 10 years ago. We're still here. Find the flower."

Dogday a defense attorney promises to protect Catnap and get him out of trouble but when there are witnesses, evidence, and a corrupt prosecutor can he really save him? Catnap swears he didn't do it but can Dogday prove it?

Bio of the story: *inserts tape in the vhs player. TV comes on. Seeing a metallic arm with tubs filled with chemicals in the forearm on screen* "This is Dr. Corin 'Singed' Reveck. Beginning report for subject number one zero eight eight. The transformation is nearly complete. The effects have been.... gruesome. A creature of pure instinct. Efficient. Unstoppable. And yet, part of the human creature.... remains. End report." There was a kid near his teenage years named (Y/N) (L/N). An orphan who was not adopted by any parents who came by, all due to his build and intimatation he displayed. He was friends with the kids and the toys, like Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, The Smiling Critters, and more. One day, he was knocked unconscious and taken by Singed, a reacent hired scientist who planned to use him as a test subject for his transmutation formula. Right under the playtime factory's nose. He had a lab made for him after he took the job from day one. He told (Y/N) that he wanted to unleash his true nature, a deadly beast within a "good man." (Y/N) spent hours in agony while feeling every cut from Singed's scalpel, due to his belief that pain was the catalyst to the transformation, but the test subject also had the machinery to heal him by pumping chemicals in his veins. Warwick's hand was cut off and replaced by a large clawed hand, which Singed believed to show his true potential. Finally, a chemical chamber was attached to his back and nervous system, and the chemicals would unleash his feral instincts whenever he had strong emotions. (Y/N) eventually died from the pain, and Singed had to dispose of his body to his own disappointment. That's when the "Hour of Joy" began. However, death turned out to be the catalyst to fully completing the transformation, bringing him back to life as a savage wolf like creature dominated by primal instincts. Leaving off with the small critters leaving out of dogdays dismembered body. Catnap appears, looking down at the dog, before invading the room with his signature red smoke. Dogday; battered,traumatized, dismembered body finally relaxes after many years. Falling into a deep slumber he hopes he never wakes up from... that's until he opens his eyes to find out he's inside the smile critters t.v show! What will dogday do once he sees the oh so familiar Purple feline again?

He met up with an old best friend who Catnap thought was the enemy but instead his savior. After realizing his mistakes, he took upon himself to reconcile with the others. But he finds himself conflicted with feelings for his best friend. An unknown amount of time passed since the last critter (CatNap) was killed...the Smiling Critters seemed to be gone for good. However, as the clock strikes midnight on August 8th, all the critters get brought back to life by an unknown entity. They're forced to live in an old manor together with 8 new faces, while also dealing with their own struggles.

What happens when you provoke a dog too much? They bite. (This is based off INUbis' smiling critters short from some months back but I decided to make a bad/semi bittersweet-ish ending.)

A 12 year old girl breaks into the infamous playtime co factory after being scared by her school friends. She accepted wanted to not look like a chicken in front of them afraid she might get made fun of. But there's a problem, she's not alone at the factory, but There is a toy brand called the smiling critters and they have been in the factory for years after it went abandoned. And these critters after being alone for so long they want to catch her and turn her into a smiling critter so they don't feel alone anymore. Will she escape, or join the critters family forever? But she ain't alone, as she finds out someone that also broke into the factory also trying to escape. This person is no other than a x employee breaking into the building many years after they worked there So can the duo escape before they both join the family of The smiling critters, find out in the story.
