Credit: @dannyhowelter (TITLE) This AU is centered around Keith and Lance growing up. Along with there friends Katie and Hunk. Things between Keith and Lance start to change, they develop a stronger friendship then they have with Hunk and Katie. This AU will go through the Paladins growing up. Going from toddlers, too young adults. This AU will be mostly fluff, (angst stresses me out.) maybe smut ;) There won't be any warnings, (because frankly those annoy the shit out of me, idk why they just do.) but there will be suicidal thoughts/tendencies, and mature content. (Dual POV Story) Keith hates the sea. There's no trauma behind this, no dramatic backstory, Keith just hates the sea. Keith was in the middle of complaining about why he was forced to join in on a cruise party, when his older brother, Shiro, thought it would be hilarious to throw him overboard. As he was sinking in the water, he noticed a boy floating towards him- and.... he was transparent? Lance loves the sea. Not only that, Lance's the spirit of the ocean. Not exactly a god, but basically controls the ocean to his will. No one can see him unless he wants them too. One day, Lance was floating through the ocean per usual, when a human with a mullet was plunged underwater. Oh dear... he's quite the looker. So Lance approaches the Mullet, curiously...
