What was supposed to be a simple night in her dorm became a mostly one-way trip to space for Anya. All because her brother asked her to help the team "bond". Well, they're bonding alright---in space, fighting an alien war because they stumbled across an alien warship of a lion. Of course this is how she ends up spending the last of her teenage years. ********* "Hey," Keith called, and I looked at him. "You good?" I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Fine. Why?" He shrugged, and I noticed he'd put his knife up. "You look paler," he said, standing. "Than the last time we saw each other, I mean." "You mean when you and Griffin got into that fight right before you dropped out?" I raised my eyebrow at him, crossing my arms. "He's still mad about that one, you know." "Eh, that doesn't surprise me," he said, matching my stance. "Between his ego and his ego, I wouldn't have expected much else. Since when did you call him Griffin?" "Does that really matter?" He considered it a moment, then shook his head. "I guess not. We've got bigger things to worry about, anyway." I nodded, looking toward the sunrise. Shiro had woken up a little while ago, and now he stood on the cliff, watching as the sun rose. After so long in space, I didn't blame him. I'd probably take my time to enjoy that view, too, if I were him. Could never get sick of it. "You should talk to him," I said, looking at Keith. "Make sure he's okay." He nodded, walking away. The younger paladins, after getting back together, discuss human-alien hybrids. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron. There are quite a few theories floating around regarding Keith having alien DNA, but one of the theories doesn't really pan out. Note - One of the theories I've come across is that Keith, as a Galra-human hybrid would have purple skin, but also have the ability to camouflage the fact he has purple skin. However, the camouflage ability is an Altean ability, not Galra. Keeping this secret wouldn't have been easy, particularly back on Earth, but when Pidge revealed herself to actually be a girl, that would have been a good point for Keith to reveal he was Galra-human and had purple skin, as they as a team was supposed, to be honest with each other. It makes more sense if Keith is part Altean or Galra that he doesn't know. Thus no purple skin, or other oddities.

Third year high school student, Keith Kogane , is a boy with a beautiful face and an undesirable personality; he is laid back, impolite, and blunt. Soon after he goes out with someone, they dump him once his true personality starts to surface. His junior in the archery club, Lance Mclain , is a well-known ladies' man. A rumor about him circulates in school, stating that Lance will agree to go out with the first person to ask him out on Monday, before promptly dumping that person on Sunday. Despite the school knowing this, Lance remains popular with girls because, for the seven days he dates them, Lance will make his partner feel absolutely special. Hearing the rumor, Keith becomes curious about Lance . One Monday morning, he greets Lance outside of the school's entrance and jokingly asks him out. However, Lance takes him seriously, and so begins Keith's seven days with him ( it's a 7 day au)
