During a mission Pidge is captured by the Galra. A year later she is found by The Blade of Marmora, at first Keith doesn't reconize her until a few weeks after the repeating interogataions. It's currently her second year of highschool, and Katie is struggling with family issues. She isolates herself from her classmates but does well in school. As things at home start to go downhill, so does herself at school, and a classmate reaches out to help. Pidge has a medical condition that no doctor has ever been able to properly diagnose. She sees colours in everyday life around living objects and objects people have interacted with. With her self-made block-out-glasses, she's been searching for answers. One night, an unlikely friend might be able to point her in the right direction. {not my art}

Katelyn is a devoted and avid explorer of all things human despite the losses she had sustained from the destruction of her people by the human populace. But with her father and brother missing from home after an exploration, she takes it into her own hands to go the surface to find them. It's when she washes up on shore does she meet Keith, a surfer who lives with his brother on its shores. What she wanted was her family back, but what she didn't expect was to fall in love with a human. A Little Mermaid!AU that no one asked for.

Once Pidge tells them she's a girl, they all are starting to get interested in her. But she doesn't pay any attention to them as her blocked out memories start to come back to her. She started to go crazy and no one can save her as the prophecy states. All the members of the team fall with one left to stand. Pidge will do what ever she can to save her family and friends even if it causes her to lose her own life. Will she have enough time to save them before they fall or will she fail and let the prophecy win? Find out!!! I do not own Voltron Legendary Defender and this is just a fanfiction of the series so it doesn't really happen. But if you want it to happen in your mind then go for it. Pidge is doing a few experiments, mostly with Keith since hes half Galra, after spending that much time together Pidge seems to fall for Keith, but refuses to accept it, shes a woman of science not romance after all. To get to the bottom of her infatuation she spends as much time with Kieth humanly possible trying to get sick of him.
