Gaia has moved to Bookstonbury, a seaside town, for a fresh start in life. She starts a small bookselling business by selling used books for cheap in a tiny shop that's pulled by her used SUV. She tackles living in a new place while making friends with the townspeople. She even starts to develop a small crush on the town's local musician, Klaus. Gaia doesn't make a move, though, as she's unsure of Klaus's feelings towards her, no matter what his niece Harper may say. After a peaceful year full of fun and simple challenges, the past comes knocking for Gaia as the reason for her moving to Bookstonbury shows up during a tour, and he's not leaving before making some noise. *This is my own personal little mashup with Klaus from the game Tiny Bookshop and Piers from Pokémon. I like both characters and think it would be fun to write a love triangle/slow burn while I work on my serious writing projects. For story's sake, Klaus will have a canon character line while Piers is barely canon because I feel he gives off toxic boyfriend vibes, but can be sweet when he wants to be. I also want to make this closed-door spice, like you know it happened, but not the details.*
