What do you need to make this lemony drink? 2-1/4 cups sugar 5 cups water, divided 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest 1-3/4 cups lemon juice 1 cup light rum Few ice cubes Directions In a pan, add sugar, 1 cup water and grated lemon zest. Cook till the sugar dissolves on medium heat. Turn this off and add lemon juice and remaining water. Pour this into a pitcher and let it chill. Just before serving, stir in rum.
