Wednesday was Haley's favorite day of the week. Not just because they had free Sour Patch Kids in the break room every Wednesday, but that was a plus to an already awesome day. But what made this day so special was way more mouth watering than some good ol' Sour Patch Kids. Pineapple Boy. Silly name, Haley knows, but despite after months of gawking at this delivery boy from the cashier booth as he carried crate after crate and stacked pineapple after pineapple, she could never catch his name. She predicted it was something like Jake. 'Cause, he just looks like a Jake, you know? Then one day, a window of opportunity was opened. Seeing Pineapple Boy with a cast on his hand, Haley took this as the chance to be the knight in shining cashier uniform. But it was a very small window and Haley had a hard time getting in. After a few- OK, maybe a bit more than a few -fallen pineapples and even one to the face, Haley was sure that her chances of even finding out Pineapple Boy's name were completely void. But Haley isn't always right, either.
