Pineclan Stories

Lavender is found by Pineclan as a young kit, unable to remember anything except for her name. The clan cats find her mother, but she has been killed by a fox. Lavender is brought back to Pineclan's camp, where her fate is to be decided. A Pineclan queen, Starlingwing, begs the leader to let her raise the kit. Lionstar refuses, until the clan's young medicine cat has a strange dream. It seems that Lavender's fate is tied to Pineclan's, and if she is turned away, the clan could face disaster. As Lavenderpaw becomes an apprentice, her connection to Pineclan's destiny becomes even clearer. My father barked back menacingly. "The only way to be strong is to have strength in your muscles. There is no other way of being strong." I growled iratly. I rolled my eyes as he went on. "That's it. You're in big trouble now Redkit." Lionfur hissed at me, stalking towards the leader's den. "Kit, you will learn someday that strength is not everything. You can have wits and many other things to be strong too, like Petalkit." He put a special emphasis on kit, just for me. "No, Birchheart. After the 4 Moons Search where many cats have died of disease and starvation took place, they found a rainforest with a small perimeter; perfect size to fit all the cats and to separate into four clans again. Each clan was named after their surroundings. There's PineClan, surrounded by pinetrees. There's BayClan, gets the most rain. There's BarrenClan that has the least trees. Lastly, there's JebelClan, nearest to the Jagged Mountain. -x- Sunpaw of PineClan is beginning to get suspicious of Aspenpaw, who's recently been getting ignored by the rest of the clan after his near-death experience. Sunpaw is confused; he's heard nothing about why he should ignore Aspenpaw.
