Until her brother, taking pity on her, offers her a place a to stay in his flat, an offer she couldn't possibly refuse. Only issue is, she can't stand one of his roommates..

Prologue "I just don't think I can go behind Syds back like this" I stuttered nervously "You have to make a decision" he said crossing his arms standing tall with no emotion on his face "it's me or him,which one of us do you choose?!" He finished "I...I don't know" I stuttered letting my head drop "Alright then" he said quietly as his head dropped to the ground he walked out the door slamming it behind him. Hundreds of thoughts were running through my head 'Syd or Roger, Roger or Syd' I ran out the door hoping to find roger. I seen his slim silhouette leaning against a wall his slim fingers holding a cigarette to his soft,plump lips I ran up to him and knocked the cigarette out of his mouth and kissed him with as much passion as I could he wrapped his long,slender arms around my waist in return I wrapped my arms around his neck,much to his dismay I pulled away and whispered to him "I choose you George Roger Waters I love you so much and I never want to lose you" I whispered burying my face into his chest he groaned playfully "you know I hate being called by my full name but I love you saying it I love you so,so much Maria Rose Jensen and I also don't want to lose you EVER!" He said tilting my head up to look at him he smiled and leant down and kissed me softly.

Kathryn Clark has been in a relationship with her childhood friend Syd Barrett for over three years. But when Syd takes an overdose of LSD, he develops severe schizophrenia and begins to go off the deep end. Was she really here, in front of Abbey road studios and perfectly sane or was she over the rainbow crazy as she made herself believe?

He looked at me sadly. "Take your pick," he said softly. Now I have to make a tough decision. "I-I need t-time to th-think about all of this-s," I stuttered out, almost in tears. "Okay. If you go with me, I'll know. If you go with him, you don't have to tell me," he said in the same, soft voice, almost choked up. He looked like he'd break down and cry any second, something I'd never seen him do, but his grey eyes had such sadness, I almost couldn't bare. "See you tomorrow, maybe, Brian," I said, crying just from his physical state--what I had done to him. What I had done to myself. The sky is mostly clouded with deep steel blue-greys that mirror the hues of the busy streets. Everything is a muted shade, like a matte photo in a dimly lit room, everything except the tail lights that flow into the heart of London. The crowd has a life of its own, the vibrant colors and the people move like schools of fish. There is chatter between sellers and buyers, old friends catching up, new friends made. It's busy for sure, but the hustle brings a life to this city Lana wouldn't want to be without.
