The Pink Palace has been a very different place since Coraline had seemingly defeated the Beldam. Things were brighter, peace was made, and everything seemed to be looking better for Coraline Jones. She was able to overcome the fears that lived within the walls of the nicely painted building, and eventually convinced her parents to find a way to seal that door shut for good. The Solomonovich's carry in heavy boxes from their move, as they are entering the new chapter of their lives in this quaint English town. The nearby tennis courts seemed to watch the young and excitable Wanda's eyes, while the woodland area seemed to carry an eerie mist around it. Maybe it did not help that it was mid-January during this move, or there was something more sinister lurking between the tall trees. Either way, Wanda knew it would only be a matter of time till she is roaming around. How could she know what dangerous creatures are waiting for her?

The Beldam's story is one of darkness born from a tormented past. Once known as Evelyn, she suffered under her abusive mother's cruelty.
