After the events of "Change your mind", Steven can't refuse with his gem half. The gems are shocked and they have to figure out a way to get him back to normal.

When Steven go to the doctor's office for a checkup, he ends up unfusing so Priyanka can have a closer look at his human half.

This is an alternate universe that was somewhat inspired by "Steven Universe: Gone Wrong" comic! I say "somewhat" because I was only really inspired by the idea that everything basically goes wrong or STEVEN [almost] FUCKING DIES. One thing I will say... this is not for those easily disturbed. At some points I could get descriptive with Steven's injuries. Of course, this au will most likely not have that much gore compared to SU: Gone Wrong. Also, I [Strawberry] am the only one working on this story! So please be patient if you end up liking this story and want to read more. After being saved from White Diamond everyone starts to notice how not having his gem has affected him. So Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot went on a secret mission to retrieve it in hopes of returning Steven to normal health. After building a brand new ship they set off to Homeworld and successfully find the hybrids pink counterpart and return to earth. The only problem is that thanks to White, they can't fuse and be back to normal. Whatever she did left Steven weak and constantly sick.

Instead of Steven getting his powers back all he does is fall to the ground drifting off into a sleep that lasts forever. But Spinel feels guilt from it. There's only one Steven now Pink steven. He's gone..

Connie has been trying to show Steven how she feels. Kissing his cheek, holding his hand, that sort of stuff, but he doesn't seem to be catching on, or if he is he isn't showing it. Connie finally decides to tell Steven straight up and find out if he feels the same way, but Steven keeps avoiding her. He keeps avoiding everyone. Finally, Connie caught Steven before he could run off...boy what a surprise she got.

Steven is now on his own, exploring earth on his own terms. Meeting new friends and running into old ones. Yet there is one thing that still continues to follow him. That being his gem abilities and powers. Of course the residents of Beach City were more than fully aware of the aliens living by the shore, but out side the city was rather different. People don't understand things they have never seen before.

Ok as some people may know steven died in the last book but managed to stay in Pink Stevens body to relive! But because he's body passed to Pink Steven. Steven is the same old him just pink. Now after all that a Year as passed meaning Steven is 17 now. Everything is finally bright again Steven is ok now and so are the Crystal Gems even if Steven won't be able to get his body back atleast he'll live a big life but..not everything has been bright because Steven is having trauma the day of his own death. Steven is a mess right now..what will he do to stop this? Run from his problems and make a big mess for himself or talk to the Gems..? We will see very soon
