When pip is young he is powerless against the injustices of life , but his meeting with a beautiful young woman called Estella make him desire more than his simple home with Mr. And Mrs. Joe Gargery And then the boy's fortunes suddenly change when a secret benefactor provides him with money. He is able to move to london , receive an education and live as a gentleman.At that time , pip is not always true to himself.Although he knows that Joe Gargery is a good man , he is embarrassed when Joe comes to london. Joe does not fit in with pip's new life , and pip is more concerned about his old friend's lack of manners than his feeling. However, Pip must constantly reconsider his own position , especially when , one day , he makes a surprising discovery . He has , he realizes, deceived himself about the source of his ' great expectations.' As pip grows up, he begins to understand that dreams, wealth and grand plans do not always bring happiness . But will he learn to recognize the defference between true and false friends? And will he appreciate that beauty, wealth and excitement are less important than love and loyalty ?
