Kemek: Legacy of the Starborn is a fantasy series set in the imagined world of Kemek, a realm inspired by the cultures, histories, and traditions of Africa. The story centers on Afion, a young captain from JaWara determined to rise above the life of a pirate, and Princess Axali of Nisa'Iiha, who longs to be more than a ceremonial presence in her kingdom's court. Their personal quests for identity and purpose unexpectedly entangle them in the turmoil of Rema, a southern kingdom fractured by a civil war that threatens to engulf all of Kemek. As the conflict deepens, Afion and Axali must safeguard their companions and allies while uncovering a conspiracy far older and more intricate than the roots of the Mun Giti rainforest.

Captain Rhys Veyne has built his reputation by sailing where other captains refuse to go.
