Sophia is 17 and enrolled at London's royal ballet boarding school, on a scholarship. She worked really hard for her scholarship and she loves ballet with all of her heart. Clementine Dumont's son, Edward Dumont (18) is in need of a duet partner. Clementine Dumont is an extremely famous dancer who has rumoured to brutally train her son into perfection. He is perfection. Not only is he an amazing dancer but his brilliant smile and dazzling green eyes make anyone's heart flutter. As Clementine trained at London's royal ballet boarding school, she sends her son to find a duet partner for a dance that will come on before the Royal Albert Hall's production of Swan Lake. It's a pretty big deal. This is the kind of thing that could launch a career but Sophia doesn't know if she needs something like this in her life right now. "Have you ever wanted something so badly it hurts?" Sophia would know. When she moves to a new ballet school, an audition comes up for the prestigious school, Rosewood School of Performing Arts. At first I just sat in my seat, waiting for the competitor to walk up. Then it hit me. I was competing in the Regional Competition of Virginia. Amid Aliyah's screams of "JOJO!" and the crowds thundering applause, everything was frozen. Time stood still, sounds were muted as I walked up to Madame Courrie. She was smiling, mouthing something. It was "I'm proud." No one had ever been proud of me before. As soon as my feet hit the stage, sound came back again, cheers, screams, whistles, all for me. My smile could have wrapped across the whole world.
