Ganun pa man kahit na tumigil sila sa pagpaparinig ay nagawa pa rin nilang papangitin ang image ni Nutmeg sa bago nilang head coach na gusto lang magfocus sa pitcher. Wala itong paki-alam sa mga player na tingin niya ay walang espesyal na kakayahan. From main catcher na-demote si Nutmeg sa pagiging bullpen catcher.
