This is my baseball story

This story takes place of the original Sandlot but has an enemies to lovers and a friends to lovers storyline like the Sandlot 2. More of a friends to lovers trope. Amelia Baker is a girl who just moved to a small town in Los Angeles, CA with her mom, dad, and little brother Austin. In this town the only person or people who seems to be nice to her is a kid who goes by Phillips and his baseball buddies. She trust Phillips and he tells her everything she wants to know or everything he thinks she should know. Amelia learns that Phillips isn't as honest as he plays to be and the "Sandlot kids" aren't as bad as she thought they were. Amelia in the process of figuring out her feelings for each team captain, she needs to figure out her healing process with her grandmothers passing. Everyday there's something new going on in Amelia's life and she can't handle it on her own.

Now, no Division 1 school wants him, instead he has to go to a Division 2 school while proving that he wasn't guilty and that he's worthy of being part of a Division 1 school. The way he proves this is by beating out a powerhouse division 1 school.
