Ace Wilder is a what you would call a shy introvert, although the one thing that can bring a smile to his face is pitching a ball. However, he has his own flaws that come with it. Ace's extreme flexibility which aides him to perform his extraordinary and odd form, raising his foot almost above his head and bends his body so his arm swings out far behind his chest. Although he can only throw fast while throwing a breaking ball. His troubles start with his incapability to throw fastballs. The form he had taught himself had made it nearly impossible for him, therefore making his fastballs considered fast but impossible to control. All his accuracy practice goes down the drain when it comes to fastballs, but having loved pitching since he was young he trained using several over techniques. Rory Paine is the ideal catcher considering his large built and muscular body. He wishes to find someone that can pitch something extraordinary to him and blow him away, which has been a hard task since a past teammate he had played with ruined his trust. This made him incredibly controlling and hates pitchers because of the stereotypical attitude that's shouts "I'm better than everyone here". Often times he can be seen fighting with the pitchers on his team because of not listening or not paying attention to his hand signals. Rory had been suspended a few times for these reasons, but nonetheless being a substantial player on the team.

Jim Shirley, founder of FundingHero, brings over two decades of financial expertise and insight to the world of fundraising. With an exciting career reaching the role of CFO, Jim has successfully navigated the challenges of rapidly scaling businesses, raising millions in funding, building five finance functions, and working on over 20 acquisitions and integrations. His biggest achievements include the successful rapid growth and eventual exit of two multi-award-winning companies to billion-dollar overseas organisations. In 2022, Jim embarked on his newest endeavour with FundingHero®, driven by a singular mission: to simplify fundraising and pave the way for startup founders to thrive and scale with the funding they need. His acclaimed work, "The Startup Fundraising MBA," which showcases his unique 6 Pillars of Fundraising™. was inspired from his time as CFO with a London-based tech startup venture studio, who had a large portfolio of tech startups, each aiming to raise their first few funding rounds. Jim quickly identified a pattern of challenges. Due to there being no formal investment readiness process, there was consistently a large gap in founders understanding of the investment readiness process. This was impacted further from a lack of strategic financial planning due to the inability for founders to access the right financial advice that a CFO can provide at such a vital stage in their journey. This meant founders where chasing the wrong amounts from the wrong investors at the wrong time with the wrong investment materials. Recognising these recurring challenges and the vicious cycle founders fell into, it eventually inspired the idea behind FundingHero®: offering early-stage founders CFO-level insights paired with a step-by-step guide to streamline their investment journey, to save time and get their critical funding faster.

"Noah, why are you still looking at me?" I stared at him with a confused expression. He's been doing this for the last 10 minutes: staring. "Because, being the friend that I am, I'm worried about you," "Why would you be worried about me?" He lightly laughed, throwing his head back in the process. "Well for one, you haven't stopped twitching. And two, you have drool down your chin and your eyes look like diamonds. Care to explain?" ~ Breanna Jones is a college student trying to juggle school and her starting position on Penn University's softball team as a Pitcher. One thing that makes her different and sets her apart from the rest of the crowd is she has an early stage of a genetic disease that has very little treatment available. Her brother, Keegan Jones, is a pro-golfer making millions of dollars every weekend for shooting a better score than anyone else. But he has one thing that distracts her. His caddy. As softball winds down and Final testing's are over, Brea flies down to Palm Beach, Florida to watch her little brother play; if she can keep her eyes off of Keegan's caddy. Now, as choices are to be made, Brea must make a decision. Turn away from a life she is comfortable with, or take a chance. It's like hitting a driver on a Par 5; you have to because there is no other option. There is a long tee shot to go.
