Adventure Story

Your OC is trapped in a dungeon, desperate to get free, when suddenly, someone gives you the chance to escape. Do you take it and gain freedom? Or do you stay where you know it's safe? Both sides have a catch. Choose to leave, and you'll be hunted down and murdered if found, left with nothing, not even your dignity. You will not get a proper trial, you will die alone, and most importantly, your loved ones will be killed as well with the charge of treason. Choose too stay, and your killed. Your family keeps their lives, and your sentence is fulfilled in public, people sneering at your face for all the supposed wrongs you've done. You've done nothing wrong really, you were framed. Even if you had chosen to run away, you were still framed. You would've died with people hating you for no reason. If you had chosen to run, they would've at least had a reason to hate you. So what's your choice? Seems simple. You'll probably choose to stay, am I right? I mean, who cares if they hate me for no reason, I'm not having my family murdered. What if I told you that you had no family? That your family couldn't be murdered, because they were the ones hunting you down. That you were already disowned a long time before your being framed?
