Doc has been in Radiator Springs for a while now when a new job drove into town, but maybe raising a child who has a dark past won't be so bad. But her furture is a challenging one. It has been twenty one years since the Florida 500, and Cruz Ramirez has been continuing on being trained by the Great Lightning McQueen. Unfortunately, Cruz has been racing for so long that McQueen's daughter, Laney, will take over. Laney has been thrilled to race for this Legacy for her life, but will the challenges of racing strangle her and her family or will the fate of the Legacy offer something else in return?

When Lightning McQueen finds his perfect life slipping away faster than ever after one eventful, booze filled evening, he is left feeling defeated and wondering if its time to hang up the keys. But unfortunately for him, the people around McQueen just want to see him get better, but that can only happen if he wants it. Will Lightning be able to get his shit together and save his career? I have no idea!
