Here is the second half of part 5.5 of the sequel to Scarlet Truther's wrath. This is mostly the second half of the day with the kids doing homework, no hero fighting for the day; thankfully, and having a quiet rest of the day. Plus dinner and the kids getting ready for the school day. Part 6 will have more action afterwards. Hopefully you enjoy this short story before part 6.

Princess Nadia, slave to Sir Rallian, is growing impatient. Even with powerful people such as the Imperial Advisor, Lord Polaris, and Marchioness Ivanna of Aramycius trying to free her, she has spent years as a slave. And now that Noelle is an empire ruled by the conniving and manipulative Empress Ariana, freedom seems hopeless. But as oppression weighs heavier on Nadia's shoulders, she begins to slip through their fingers, leaning toward signing up against their advice to wait. Will Polaris and Ivanna be able to keep Nadia from signing up for the Annual Slave Arena before they can free her? Will they even be able to free her without her fighting in the arena?

Her whole life Alexis was chased by monsters, always hunting her from one foster home to another, until one day a group of odd people show up before the monster, who see the monster as well as she does. Frankie had always been second best to Gus, every monster she killed Gus would have killed one better. Until one day, when she stumbles upon two young woman with fairy blood being attacked by a monster. Something that should never have happened. Together Frankie and her brother Russ search for the knowledge of how this happened. As the war comes ever nearer these four stories entangle as they sink deeper and deeper into the battle. Since I saw the new season episodes and swore to myself NEVER AGAIN, I decided to write ANOTHER book talking of both the GOOD old episodes and the *clears throat* NEW episodes that make me want to barf. Be sure to have snacks and a drink because this will be interesting...

Set in the distant past before civilization, on earth, is a remote place where the forest meets the endless meadow. There is a small community of pixies and butterflies that live very high in the tall trees similar to redwoods. The story follows a spunky JoJo, her close friends and shares how they co-exist and face the dangerous of the annual harvest in Book 1. There are some fun mythology and rituals that make it unique. This is my first book of a trilogy following the many adventures of JoJo and her family, friends and community. The book was originally told from my imagination to my young daughter as an evolving story at bedtime. I probably told the story over a year or so starting when she was 8 yrs old. Also relevant is her significant hearing deficit, photographic memory, perfect pitch, love of animals and love of small children. She is currently planning her masters degree in elementary education and is a prolific reader of fantasy and horror genre and an excellent writer with a degree in journalism.
