Yes, I've gone that deep. I've delved into cliche so hard that I've reached the soulmates AUs. But in my defense, the only AU's I ever read were kinda crappy, so I thought, "let's make one of our own!" so here we are. You know the drill. When you turn 5, you start being able to communicate with your soulmate. Either person can start. From then on you can feel some of the emotions that they feel. When you find them, the bond isn't broken, but you get a small tattoo with the first letter of their name. When they die, the tattoo appears, but grey. If you stop being soulmates with someone, the bond is removed. No one is born without a match, but sometimes it takes a while to find yours.
