Plaid Stories

Ace Blue is a 15 year old boy. He had a friend who lived near him in Amsterdam. His friend disappeared. He then found her six years later in Boston but then disappeared again. For good. Her disappearance is somehow linked to her grandmother's estate. The Crowell House that's located just a few miles from his own house. He later finds out that this house is linked to other disappearances across Boston. But even if he were to solve the mystery who would believe him?

Brief description of my short stories... Story 1) The Leftover Spell- A girl gets a wand which brings leftover things, she uses it for everything but not everything is leftover. She learns the value of hard work, knowledge, will, determination and strength. Story 2) Beyond Eternity- About a woman with her husband and the 2-year-old boy go to sunderban for their vacation. In the trip, a tiger tries to attacks their child but it goes away, in the next moment the woman see a lady standing where the tiger was and she vanishes in the next moment after giving a smile and little wave. And many other short stories...

"It's time to belly up to the salad bar of truth." Madeline Lakin is in for the summer of her life. Her younger brother is missing a leg, she's missing five thousand dollars to cover the insurance difference for a prosthetic, and her father is just plain missing. Then comes Madeline's decision to get a job at Blake's, a bistro and buffet that's about as famous in her small town as the high school's soccer captain coming out using the phrase "Dicks before chicks." Throw in a salad bar boy with a thing for plaid, a knack for being a waitress, and a fear of ultimate failure and somewhere along the lines Madeline will realize that life is like a buffet: half the time a complete mess, always surprising, and better than what anyone ever expected. “When did you even get a job here Pipsqueak?” He called as she walked away. “Yesterday asshole, I thought we could use some bonding."

Alice was perfectly fine living the highly secretive and cavalier life she had. Honestly, between the exotic locations and to die for gadgets, life couldn't get any better, and she was content thinking she was the only one of her kind. That was until she met him. Ever since that day on the airplane he's been doing nothing but turning her world upside down and then some. That is to say, in a world full of adventure she wasn't expecting this one.
