In a world with a rainforest, Sun is a recent outcast from his village. Based on the spirits from his ancestors and those from the village. He has to contend with his group of outcasts as well as a need to survive in the rainforest. Luckily, Sun is the son of a hunter and a warrior. He should know a thing or two about defending himself and others. Not to mention that he has to hunt to provide meat for his group of outcasts. Any animal, no matter if it is a herbivore or a carnivore is always used for food. Even some of the parts of the animal are used for tools and clothing. Some of the living creatures and fauna of the rainforest have supernatural properties. Powers that will make them dangerous for human and regular beast alike. Two members of the group, Happy and Yell, aren't easy to get along with. Happy is the wild boy of the group. Getting himself into trouble and thinks that any wild animal or plant is a plaything. While Yell is one who's entitled. Putting her at odds with the other members of the group. She also has the naughty habit of screaming at anyone if she feels like it. Not too mention that there are many other perils awaiting. From plant life that might eat them, to wild animals that will not stop until they are their next meal. Could Sun keep his group together and protect them from the perils of the rainforest? Or will there be a peril that will be out of his control that will take out his group?

It is traditional since Full Moons are rare, only the most intelligent plants will know when a Full Moon comes, that marks the night of the gathering in The Arena. I highly recommend reading the chapters first! 2024 Author's Note: This story has been cancelled, and is due to be rewritten. Many aspects may likely change in the future, though. I originally took down this story because I disliked the universe I'd set up as well as the execution of the story itself, and intended on doing a reimagining. That second take came and went, burning myself out over struggles to pace it well thanks to its highly unusual and experimental structure. This story was also taken down to prevent some of the events that occurred later in it from spoiling the latter parts of "Redwater Riot." That said, I feel like it would be a good idea to rerelease this story as a sort of museum work, a way to look at what my writing was back then and how it has changed over time. I don't intend on finishing "Polaris Garden," though I do intend on a rewrite in a later "Imperial Reach: Awakening." Something much closer to what this was than what I'd done before. However, on certain nights when she struggles to fall asleep, she swears she hears strange noises coming from the backyard, but never really put that much thought into it until one night she decided to check what was making all the noise, though she didn't expect it would be coming from the green house...

The world of remnant, a world in a never ending battle between light and darkness. The hunters and huntresses, protectors of humanity, and the Grimm, who seek to snuff out civilization in all its forms. However, in a set of events from a world unknown to remnant, the world of remnant has some new Flora to defend it. (Cross-posted on ao3)
