Their friendship isn't the same anymore... Will Byers: Everything is wrong in his life. Bad dad, mom who struggles, odd brother. Even he himself is wrong. He is weird, a nerd, bullied. Called queer. There has been only one constant good in his life. His best friend, Mike. Even that gets taken though, when Will gets dragged into the Upside Down. After that, nothing is the same. Mike Wheeler: Another weirdo, nerd, frog face. Except his family seems perfect, parents are together, he has two sisters. He even has friends. But why is he always feeling so bad? Trapped? Like sadness and anger never leave him, always lingering in the back of his mind? The one person he can count on, suddenly disappears and now Mike can't figure out how to regulate himself anymore. And now that Will is back, he is getting worse. Byler endgame but there is also mileven since they do date in the show. This is a rewrite of stranger things because many were not happy with the finale (understandable) Most things in the earlier seasons will stay the same, but I am thinking of changing almost all of the lasts (especially s5). This takes place in the Stranger Things universe, after the events of Volume Two. The only major change is that Eddie's alive and hangs out with Will, because Edward Munson's death ducking hurt. It's been a month since Will gave Mike that painting in the van, Mike hasn't said a word about it and has barely talked to Will since. It's sent Will spiraling. Everything changes when he gets a call from Dustin while working at Surfer Boys that he and the party (including Mike) were going to summer camp back in Hawkins, and Mike had gotten a job at Scoops Ahoy.
