Dean Redding has lived a hard life. At twelve-years-old, he's forced to deal with the aftermath of his notorious father after he's been arrested for the murders he committed. When he is prescribed OxyContin to help with back pain, he finds himself sucked into a world of drug use and lies as he fights to continue his bad habits in the Naturals' house. But after he's forced to admit his mistakes, he is swept away to a place away from home in order to begin his recovery. He must heal from his past, along with finding a new him that doesn't rely on the pills that had taken over his life for the past six years.

Ever since the Anthros' arrival to settle in and make lives for themselves among the Monsters, Newer Home slowly continued welcoming new Anthro faces. A couple being new faces, though many would be family members reuniting with one another at long last. Some more so for the better than others. Many Anthro families have yet to be made whole again, while the reunion of families proves to only prompt more questions to these family mysteries. Mysteries both of family members who have found each other, and mysteries around lost and missing family links-and all are mysteries the Anthros are willing to uncover.

When Spoke finds a suspiciously old treasure map in a forgotten chest, he immediately drags Mapicc into another one of his terrible ideas. What starts as a simple trip turns into a few days of getting lost, arguing over directions, finding strange places, and laughing over things that probably shouldn't be funny. After Eggchan's kidnapping, FlameFrags' betrayal, and the destruction of the island, Wemmbu escapes with Arachnid and YungYx while overwhelmed by fear, anger, and exhaustion. The two offer him a cruel deal: help them gain power, and Eggchan will be kept safe from further harm. Though Wemmbu knows the arrangement would cost him his morals and freedom, he finds himself considering it because he can't stand the thought of Egg being hurt again. The tragedy is that the one thing Wemmbu has always fought for - his own autonomy - is once again being taken away from him.

New school, new rules. Lance is a "criminal" at a boarding school designed to "reform" him. He gets along with two of his new classmates, Hunk and Pidge, but the other one... Well, let's just say that Lance would be perfectly glad if Keith Kogane were to suddenly be transferred to literally anywhere else. Preferably prison. But something sinister is going on in the school's forbidden hallway, and Lance will need all of the allies he can get to figure it out. And hopefully not die in the process.

Tommy wasn't weak, no matter what other people thought. He was strong, and like the rest of his family he would kill a dragon. His village had been fighting dragons since before he was even born, and although most people would move if dragons attacked them, the people of Tommy's village were Vikings and they were stubborn by definition. Tommy never liked dragons, he had been taught his whole life about the evils of dragons and how awful they were. That was only certified when Tommy's older brother Wilbur was killed by dragons. His father Philza, chief of the village, and other older brother Techno became very protective of him after that, believing that he would be unable to kill a dragon. Tommy wanted to prove them, and everyone else, wrong and show that he could kill a dragon and that he was just as much a Viking as everyone else. But when he finally gets a dragon down on the ground and defenseless, he just can't do it. From that day forward, Tommy finds himself learning and doing things he never thought possible, and questioning everything he was taught about dragons. Even more surprisingly, he finds he's not alone in this new world of dragons. Tommy thought he knew which side he was on in the war of his village versus the dragons, but now he's not sure. A part of him hopes that maybe he can stop the war, so there doesn't have to be any sides at all. With new friends, maybe he can do more than just hope and wish. (I don't feel like making a bunch of my own types of dragons, so I'm using actual dragons from the HTTYD series. Some of the things about some dragons are not canon/made up by me.)
