this story is about a family living in peace below the surface of the factory called playtime co. where people, kids, and sometimes adults get experimented on and become real life toys that can talk and move just like humans but that's not the beginning of that, when something awful happened it was the hour of joy when the toys revolted against the people that hurt them and turned them into toys, I'm probably getting ahead of myself this story may have a dark past but to me I know that we have a bright future a head of us going through trauma, pain, and death as well but this adventure is just the beginning and as for my name well......you're gonna have to read my family's story to find out about who, what, when, where, why, and how this story is also how I met the love my life for the rest of my journey so enjoy the story and adventure in my perspective and through my eyes as well

Bio of the story: *inserts tape in the vhs player. TV comes on. Seeing a metallic arm with tubs filled with chemicals in the forearm on screen* "This is Dr. Corin 'Singed' Reveck. Beginning report for subject number one zero eight eight. The transformation is nearly complete. The effects have been.... gruesome. A creature of pure instinct. Efficient. Unstoppable. And yet, part of the human creature.... remains. End report." There was a kid near his teenage years named (Y/N) (L/N). An orphan who was not adopted by any parents who came by, all due to his build and intimatation he displayed. He was friends with the kids and the toys, like Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, The Smiling Critters, and more. One day, he was knocked unconscious and taken by Singed, a reacent hired scientist who planned to use him as a test subject for his transmutation formula. Right under the playtime factory's nose. He had a lab made for him after he took the job from day one. He told (Y/N) that he wanted to unleash his true nature, a deadly beast within a "good man." (Y/N) spent hours in agony while feeling every cut from Singed's scalpel, due to his belief that pain was the catalyst to the transformation, but the test subject also had the machinery to heal him by pumping chemicals in his veins. Warwick's hand was cut off and replaced by a large clawed hand, which Singed believed to show his true potential. Finally, a chemical chamber was attached to his back and nervous system, and the chemicals would unleash his feral instincts whenever he had strong emotions. (Y/N) eventually died from the pain, and Singed had to dispose of his body to his own disappointment. That's when the "Hour of Joy" began. However, death turned out to be the catalyst to fully completing the transformation, bringing him back to life as a savage wolf like creature dominated by primal instincts. The seventh Lost Tapes short story and a part of the Poppy Playtime Salvation universe. Dogday has always been seen as the leader of the Smiling Critters. But he is so much more. He's a good friend and a helper at heart.

Y/n has always been the quiet orphan-too soft, too heavy, too easy to overlook. At Playtime Co., the only ones who ever made her feel wanted were the Smiling Critters... and Dogday, the sunshine that kept her alive when her own heart couldn't. But during the Hour of Joy, everything rots. Dragged deep below into the Prototype's territory, Y/n is trapped with the other orphans-until the red gas meant to erase them... doesn't. She wakes up. Alone. Breathing. And if the factory wants her silent, it picked the wrong girl-because she's getting out... and she's finding Dogday. Even if she has to tear the dark open with her bare hands. With the help of new ally's, and the horror of enemies, Y/n will not give up to find Dogday and the other smiling critters, and maybe put a stop to Playtime Co overall. You are an orphan at PlayTime co's Playcare... Well... You WERE an orphan. You didnt know it at the time, but you are one of the lucky few who actually got adopted instead of getting experimented on. And safe to say, your life was pretty good, a loving foster family, a good community, and tons of friend! It felt like you were finally leaving Playcare behind... That was... Until the letter arrived...

PLEASE READ!! If you remember or have read my original "Playhouse Blues" story (which I still hold dear), I decided to assign the title to a different alternate universe (AU) of mine because I felt it suited that version better. Does this mean the original story is gone for good? Not really. My love for Rubberhose remains, and that AU has been too good to me to let go. I just want things to make a bit more sense. Now, let's discuss this newer AU I'm developing in this story: Playhouse Blues Act II is an AU where things are well.. more peaceful. Everyone gets the life they deserve. But here's the twist: they're all dead. Every single one of them, including little ol' 1006. I don't play favorites here. I don't care if he's basically 'immortal'; he's going to die today. Do you fear ghosts? Too bad, because this AU is filled with them. They're now ghosts roaming the factory, but they are the ghosts of what they used to be. So no, they're not toys anymore. They're "living" the undead life as children. Despite being physically visible to the living that somehow happen to get close, they are in fact 100% ghosts. The reason they appear as their old selves instead of the toys they were originally designed to be is that this AU stems from my Gacha videos (which I am making). Initially, I wanted them to be toys, and that was my original intention. However, I had to abandon that idea due to complications stemming from the limitations of Gacha Club and my repeated failures at design attempts. Creating orphan designs turned out to be much easier and flowed more smoothly for me. I also want to clarify that employees (and ex-employees) won't be included in this AU. This is a conscious choice I made for my videos, and it's a choice I'm sticking with here. There's only one employee I'm considering adding, and it ISN'T Ms. Gracie Green (sorry, Lily). The gang along with Wallace's uncle Tommy Watson got a letter and a VHS tape from a toy factory called Playtime Co. It was Tommy's old workplace. Everyone at Playtime Co. suddenly disappeared without a trace. They went to Playtime Co. and soon they encounter Huggy Wuggy, Poppy, Mommy Long Legs and many more. They have to find a way to escape the factory. Will they live? Will they be trapped forever? Find out in this story.

Playtime. Co. never tired of creating toys with the incredible utility of delighting children. Among them is the Smiling Critters (1992). We've all seen their smiley adventures, but did you know there was a Valentine's Day special? No? Well, what are you waiting for? (The previous description was removed for no reason.)

The Author here! Since the time I made this is when chapter three was released and for the people who are confused about this in the future. Just so you know this is kinda like my AU. I didn't change the characters or the story that much. And the story can get a bit confusing. Btw art in the chapters is made by me 🤑 (Bigger bodies Dogday x Female player) After bringing back Kissy Missy from being killed by the Prototype, you were instructed to return to Playcare and fetch a certain ingredient that could bring a toy back to life. Now that Catnap is gone you can freely roam without any interruptions(Except if you aren't careful.) But once you get to the Playhouse, you might end up in a bit of a mess that causes you to bring back a friend with a bright smile who wasn't expecting your return... Or by that... His second chance in life. Chance of discontinuation: 64%

When the player's eight years old,they are brought to Playtime Co.'s Playcare. While most of their friends either get adopted or move onto...other opportunities...neither of those things happen to them. Instead, the player grows up in Playcare and eventually begins preparations to become a full-time employee there. But they can't help but notice some of the living toys and Bigger Bodies seem...oddly familiar to them. Especially DogDay, who seems eager to befriend the player in particular after their best friend Samuel leaves Playcare. I do not own Poppy Playtime, DogDay or any other characters mentioned herein.
