A story that I needed to get off my chest, thank you.

Reincarnation is known to be real and is discovered throughout the story where bestfriends from their past lives drift apart and become reconnected once again.

The lives of Johnny and his family, once a normal American family, are drawn into madness as the death of their Mother Cora, shatters their livelihoods. With the accident mentally and physically destroying Johnny's mind and body, will they discover the secrets that hide behind the bright light. It Is believed that their past is behind them...but what if it has been in the shadows, following them ever since? Author Info! Hey....my name is Toki! I'm 21 and a recent University graduate studying Model Making. I have always been interested in writing. Though through the years it has become apparent to me that I'm not the best at reading, and have problems focusing on words and really struggle to read overall. Thanks to a close friend talking about their writing, I decided that I would try and write a story. Specifically horror stories, as that is the genre that really make me happy as I love all things horror. I am an artist, and have drawn the type of art seen on the cover of this "book" for many...many years, and thought that it would be a great place to start a horror story...with my artwork. So...here we are! (If you want to see more of my artwork...my Instagram is "tokiwilks.art") Like I said...Im not great at reading....and have not written stories like this before. So please don't judge the layout of the story, as I'm still getting used to that bit haha. Also I apologise for any grammar mistakes or overall writing mistakes, again...not something I'm used to at all. I'm hoping to make "The Melting Man" an 8 part series. Though there may end up being more or less depending on where this story ends up going. I would love to have some feedback on what you think of the story so far, and if anyone would be interested in reading more of it. Things don't turn out too well when they're knocked unconscious and wake up in a different room, which they'll later find out is a completely different house in... the middle of a forest? Stockholm syndrome comes into play and they might just end up having to confront the feelings they're developing for their six new roommates (captors) instead of, you know, confronting how they might escape with their head still on.
