Unlike some boys, Ortan is a duck. He is the last of these special species, or so he thinks. He lives in a strange pond in the midst of a forest. While wandering around he finds himself drawn to a blue butterfly while searching for his mother who has yet to return. He finds an odd garden, clearly telling him to turn back. Despite the warnings, he perversely walks into the gates of the beautiful garden----with a horrible twist. Captured in the dark forest he enters into a old creepy house. A shadow lerking in the dark is his worst nightmare. He has fallen victim to this horrible beast---his only hope is to find his mother and maybe make some good friends along the way AUTHORS NOTE: I only claim the story and most of the characters except one.
