This sad poem reflects the plight of a ship's chef. It could also be used as the lyrics for a song, LATER ONE EVENING.

I composed this for a young neighbor who is suffering terribly from disease. She is literally trapped by her symptoms, and yesterday we heard her sobbing and crying in her yard. No higher calling can come then to give comfort to someone in despair. The Songbird's Solace is for Denise.

This is a story about the most outrageous things happening and coming to reality. Double thinking and rethinking everything you know about life and realism. There's a shift and there's no longer a difference between fiction and reality Achievements #8 Plight

Welcome to a tale revealing an inspirational journey from beginnings of a mundane, dead-end existence to the political global hotspot of a country preparing for war against the US and it's allies and then on to a modern day quest for love, ultimately found in a most unlikely part of the world. Along the way are thoughts, observations and emotions mixed in with quizzical short stories, pop poetry, jottings, snip-bits, enthralling images and an underlying bent towards finding the lighter side of all things which pop up in the course of events. However, an undertone transcends the entire publication of never, ever give up. Enjoy the stimulation...

This poetry is disturbing and it's not a reflection of my own views and it's not meant to offend anyone, The middle class is a vital and important part of society and it's important to acknowledge their struggles and find ways to support them.

Stella was getting into her Porsche, a man suddenly appeared out of nowhere and demanded that she be his getaway driver. It was the bank robber, Adravayne, off the news and Stella couldn't believe her luck. As they sped away from the scene of the crime, Stella's heart was racing. The bank robber looked over at Stella and grinned. She could feel her heart skip a beat as she was in way over her head, but she didn't care. Jane knew that she might not make it out of this ordeal without an attachment to Adravayne, but she didn't care. She was with the man she was falling for, and that was all that mattered. One shot.
