After all, it wasn't every day that not one, but multiple shooting stars turned falling meteors fall close to pro hero agencies, destroying whole ass buildings and emerging as heavenly-looking people, most likely teenagers or just past teenage years (seriously, what the absolute heck is going on?!) in the same country, same band of cities in the same night.

Humans are always dying. They're killing each other, killing themselves. It's a terrible habit they have and, truly, there's nothing that can be done to stop them.
