Plunder Stories

A series of poems looking at the impact of planetary exploration. These perspectives reflect some of the different approaches to the utilisation of a planets resources. This is a way of discussing contemporary issues and is a typical Scifi philosophy, take a current issue and put it into a scifi setting. Dedicated to David Hurt who urged me to do some scifi poems.

A disintegrating mass known as Sector 27 is on the verge of death. The planet has connections to the galaxies, that were once beyond the realms of possibilities to the greatest Scientific mindset 2050. This connection is now being realised through Galaxies as the thread that keeps all life alive. The race is on to find out what happened 200.000 years ago and rebuild the infrastructure saving all life everywhere.
