The air in the casket was small until both broke it down as then the Mirror Chamber crackled with ancient magic, usually a dignified, solemn affair. Headmaster Dire Crowley, with his perpetually flamboyant flair, was mid-speech when the Dark Mirror pulsed with an unusual intensity. Two distinct glows erupted from its depths, depositing not one, but *two* individuals before the assembled students. First came Yūken Enma, a young man who looked as bewildered as he was out of place. But before the murmurs could truly begin, the Mirror flashed again, and a second figure materialized. This time, gasps rippled through the hall, not just whispers. Standing beside Yūken, looking equally disoriented but with a spark of curious defiance in her eyes, was **Maribeth Tithe**. Her plush frame, adorned in what looked like an elaborate, frilly dress with intricate patterns, was a stark contrast to the sharp, dark uniforms of the other students. She held a small, elegantly decorated cupcake, as if she'd been snatched mid-taste. Crowley's dramatic pose faltered, his monocle nearly popping off. "What in blazes?!" he squawked, his voice echoing in the sudden silence. "A girl?! At Night Raven College?!" The students, usually composed, devolved into open-mouthed stares and incredulous whispers. "A girl? Here?" a voice from Heartslabyul murmured, eyes wide. "It must be a mistake!" another from Savanaclaw scoffed, though even his tone held a hint of shock. Thus began the bewildering, unforgettable tenure of Maribeth Tithe and Yūken Enma at Night Raven College, forever altering the dynamics of the magical academy and leaving everyone, even the stoic dorm leaders, utterly flummoxed by their unprecedented arrival. Some stories do not begin with love. They begin with acceptance. Indira learned early in life that it rarely asked what she wanted. Instead, it tested how much she could endure. Dreams were luxuries meant for others-women blessed with beauty, education, and voices that were heard. For her, life was a long corridor of silence, where simply surviving felt like an act of quiet courage. So when her parents fixed her marriage, she did not question it. When they told her the groom was not like other men, that his mind was not steady, that his life carried complications, she simply nodded. She did not ask why her. She never did. Aadhavan, meanwhile, stood at the edge of his own fractured world. Trapped between memory and loss, clarity and confusion, he was a man whose mind no longer obeyed the rules others lived by. To some, he was a burden. To others, an embarrassment. And to Indira-before she ever met him-he was simply a fate she had been asked to carry. Their marriage did not begin with whispered vows of love or promises made with certainty. It began with hesitation, misunderstanding, and fragile coexistence. Two strangers bound by rituals they barely understood-one who had learned to live without expecting affection, and another who did not yet know how to give it. She entered his life without expectations. She stayed without complaints. She loved without conditions. But, when the man she married finally remembers who he is, Will he remember her? Will he accept her as his wife? Or will he ask her to walk out of his life? To witness a journey woven with pain, endurance, silent sacrifices, and a love that is earned rather than promised, follow the story of Indira and Aadhavan.
