A collection of Hunger Games stories because they occupy my mind without writing them. I feel like there's gonna be a lot of Haymitch.

Yelena Hart was once an orphan of District Eight, adopted by one of the factory managers and his wife as a babe. Unlike her peers, she seemed of the more fortunate, always having enough food, toys and adequate schooling. However, they could never be more wrong. For the moment that she was born, her fate was threaded into the silk of the stars by a poisonous hand with a vengeful grudge. It was only a matter of time before his prophecy would fulfill itself. And when Yelena's name was called at the Reaping of the Sixty-Seventh Hunger Games, it had only just begun. She fought better than one would expect from a poorer District. Those watching presumed it was a combination of luck, a lifetime of being well fed compared to her fellow tributes, and an innate desire to survive. It mostly was. However, even when she fought brilliantly in that Arena, it wasn't quite enough. Because as the final fight of the Sixty-Seventh Hunger Games ensued, Yelena Hart was killed. Dead. Heart completely stopped. But not before her adversary, the tribute of District One. Desperate to give the people a Victor, the Capitol Medical Staff worked tirelessly to revive her. And after being dead for six minutes, they finally presented her to them. A victor that goes by The Revenant certainly attracts a lot of attention. So as years of mentoring pass, she eventually catches the eye of the Capitol's Darling. Finnick Odair has always flirted with Death. But now he just might fall in love her.

When a sixteen year old girl is sent to the hunger games with her one true love and has too choose between him and herself, who will she choose?

This is a fan fiction of hunger games in which katniss gets captured by the capitol instead of Peeta.

At just 13 years old Nicolette or better known in her district as Nico, she volunteers out of sheer boredom. With no living relatives and a mind that's constantly needing something to do she volunteers just for the hell of it. Yes, she knows of the horrors that take place in the game and YES, she knows she's likely to die, but she's always been reckless. She's always done things that kept everyone on their toes. She refuses to fit in, and she loves to make a splash. So, when she gets the idea to volunteer during the reaping she doesn't wait very long to jump on it.

"Hey Katniss," he says. I don't answer, and after awhile he tries to get my attention again. "I don't have any answers so if there's a reason you started hating me, could you please tell me why?" I look over at him, "Why do you think I hate you?" "Well, considering you stopped talking to me out of the blue, I had to assume so." He says. I stopped hanging out with you because I didn't see you as a friend anymore and that scared me. I want to say, but of course I don't. Katniss and Peeta are beloved characters who can be used in millions of stories. Read about their journey through high school, and rebuilding their friendship that Katniss let go to waste, in fear of her feelings for him that were stronger than friendship. Katniss just moved from District twelve to Panem because her mother married some rich guy named Plutarch. It's just a normal hunger games high school fanfiction but better and more awesome. It is the 4th quarter quell. 8 will be reaped from each district, but it will be picked at random, so there could be all female tributes from a district, and there will be 96 tributes this year and only one will survive. brooklyn westbay from district six was fourteen years old during the 65th annual hunger games. luckily, she wasn't picked. however, a certain young lad caught her eye on the screen from the reaping. finnick odair. she became more and more mesmerized by his bravery during the games. that is until he visits district six for the victory tour. the next three years went by incredibly quick as she got more terrified for the 68th reaping. "brooklyn westbay." as time passed, brook found herself being in a switch up and finnick being her mentor. she found herself fell harder during the quarter quell. maybe too hard. (i'm writing this byr at 16 years old and i was 13 when i wrote the story so i must say, i didn't know a lot about the hunger games). i hope to edit this story eventually.

When they are reaped for the third Quarter Quell, one's place is taken, and when the rebellion begins, that's when the horrors become far more than any victor or citizen could ever think.
