A poem about the rain..

This is a short story collection: Chapter 1 - based on a prompt to be used by those who participate in October 2023 contest JustWriteBits: Autumn Hope. Prompt: As the golden leaves crumble under your feet, find the courage to release a long-held secret. Craft a story of hope, where the old makes way for the new-just in the middle of vibrant autumn colors. Chapter 2 - based on a prompt to be used by those who participate in December 2023 contest JustWriteBits: First snowfall. Prompt: As the first snowfall occurs, they usher in the most magical time of the year.

He was fascinated by the lightning. She was fascinated by the rain...and him. When Felix, a ceraunophile (a lover of thunder and lightning), gets struck after storm chasing one evening, he's sure that it's the end of his life. Especially, when he wakes to find Poppy, a pluviophile (a lover of rainstorms), smiling at him in the summer rain. Confirming that he is indeed still alive, Poppy and Felix take an unexpected trip to the hospital, where Felix learns that he has seven days to live. In an attempt to live his best life now, Felix scribbles a list of 9 things he wants to do before he dies in the seven days he has to do them. All of them include Poppy. But as the days come to a close, so does Felix's lifespan. With one final task on his list, the biggest one of all, Felix will have to decide if it's worth risking his life. Or, if Poppy will have to live for him.

All the memories running through her head every night. She was a wild moonchild. And then there was Theo. Theo Chase Anderson. He had quite the reputation among women. Your typical textbook asshole. The star quarterback of the New York Giants and the people's favorite. Being the youngest child he was always pampered by his family. Their golden trophy. He was the total heartthrob. But he did earn his place as the star quarterback. He was someone who would do anything to achieve what he wants. Be it his love or be it his dreams. What will happen when these two people, who are worlds apart, cross paths? Well, they fall into oblivion.

I remember her. I know her. My mind is rushing, why is she so familiar. We make eye contact. I am not sure what is happening but I start sprinting off to her. I don't care who is watching. I remember - so does she... The falling drops of rain is a story of a young teenager, a pluviophile , an unfortunate victim of an incurable disease, the only true love of her life is the rain, the rain which she wants to be her only true everlasting companion...while she induldes her soul into the very process of loving and reduscovering her own self...

This is basically just me putting a bunch of philes(like pluviophile, javaphile, and astrophile) with descriptions. I might also add phobias with them, but there will be no pictures for them, and I deeply apologies for that. I will also take requests if you have one you want!
