Myk and her friends, Alyx and Eric, find themselves trapped in a place they've learned to call their home. As they try to escape they learn truths about themselves, their pasts, and how they ended up in this facility in the first place.

While she's there, she meets a group that soon seems to accept her as their own, but with a warning of a darker group of boys that she should never associate herself with. Emery finds herself intrigued, and is eventually led to the head of the group of boys who seems to have an even bigger ego than herself, Alexander Cross. But are they friends, enemies, or is something more? Either way, Emery is soon thrust into a new world of drama, love, choices and heart break that she's never known before. Maybe she should have stuck to her own self-worship back in New Jersey.
